With many options out there, we wanted to provide a budget minded, but still very high quality power plant for Yamaha based freestyle/freeride skis. So we partnered up with Lowell Horning, AZ Freeride, Precision Crankshaft, Wossner Pistons, and ADA Racing to give you the best possible engine without breaking the bank!
Our port design is by 2 stroke legend Lowell Horning, and designed to make max power with maximum reliability and ring life.
Our Crankshafts are rebuilt in house using Proprietary Fixtures to ensure 100% proper phasing (unlike methods used by some other rebuilders). All cranks are trued and welded, and final trued out to no more than 0.001" of run out (OEM allows for 0.003").
We chose Wossner Pistons for there unmatched perfection in machining and consistency in product. These pistons can take tons of abuse and by far perform the best. All pistons have our race prep service performed during the assembly process.
All cylinders are bored, honed, and port chamfered in house. 2 stroke cylinder boring must be done differently than your common 4 stroke/ automotive shop is generally tooled to do. Our process is specifically tailored to our high performance 2 stroke machines.
And last but not least, ADA Racing provides us the billet jewelry to finish of the assembly, not only in style, but with domes custom designed for this specific engine/ port layout . Color choices are available.
